Departure

I want to start by offering five points to anyone that can figure out why I chose the title of this post. And it may not be as obvious as you think!
I've mentioned how happy I am after getting a clean diaper but as you can see from the 8th, I'm almost just as happy after a delicious delicious bottle.

On the 10th, Avery, Dad and I met Aunt Darcy, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for breakfast at First Watch. And in case you don't have a calendar handy, the 10th was a Saturday which meant a KSU game day and we all donned the appropriate garb in support. I guess, I mean I'm not sure what the big deal is but I like purple so I roll with it.
And here's a pic of... almost everyone. Dad is obviously taking the picture and... uh... oh there I am in the bottom right. Nice Dad... really nice.

After breakfast AD&I rolled over to G&G Ds for a little tech support and once that was taken care of we watched a little College Game Day. And by "we" I mean Dad because Avery was helping G&G D pick up leaves and Dad left me, rather rudely, facing away from the TV. BOO!

At one point I had enough though and demanded to get out of Shawshank for a bottle and big sis offered to feed me. Heaven forbid Dad tear himself away from the recliner - sheesh!

After my bottle Avery showed me one of her favorite seats which was... okay. I did not last long in that thing though - a little clausterphobic for my taste!

That night we went over to the Ludlow's to watch the KSU game but all I did was sleep and eat which I guess wasn't picture worthy so we'll skip ahead.

On Monday the 12th Mom and I got ready early so we could make my inagural trip out to Beloit with Grandma & Grandpa Herbert.
We embarked on this journey (and make no mistake, any trip that spans past my bottle interval is, indeed, a journey - also GpaH's car is called a Journey so it circles back nicely.) for me to meet Great Aunt Janyce and wouldn't you know it just so happened to be around the time of her 75th birthday? Happy B-Day GAJ!
Beloit was pretty much like anywhere else for me - I ate, did ins-and-outs and insisted on being held most of the time
Fortunatley there were plenty of people there who were willing to do just that!

I also got to meet Great Uncle Tim along with his pups Angie (pictured over GmaH's shoulder) and Bandy. I love me some doggies and can't wait until I fit in a saddle!

The 13th was pretty chill. After my dinner bottle Dad set up my chair next to him so we could watch the KU basketball game. And no, that's not a type but it does explain why Dad kept booing.... at least until the end!

Happy Birthdays!

On the 30th Mom and I (that's me above, fyi) went to lunch at Spin! where we met my future buddy Lucas and his Mom kelly.

That afternoon we stopped by to see Grandma Herbert who found my holding "sweet spot." I like hanging out to one side - a little gangsta if you will. Try it, I like it!

The next day was Halloween so Mom had me don my mouse ears again and we headed over to G&G H's
I... accepted the hat for awhile but I was pretty jealous of Avery's dress and candy bag and eventually I just couldn't handle it anymore.

The next stop was over to Grandma & Grandpa Davenport's but my aforementioned frenzy wiped me out so I recruited Avery to open my Halloween gift bag. Bite Size Snickers? Fun Size Snickers? Full Size Snickers - you can all eat your heart out cause I got a Giraffe Kaleidescope Pull toy!

The next day the fam and I met Aunt Darcy, Uncle Dave, Grandma & Grandpa Davenport for dinner at Jack Stack BBQ. Obviously I didn't have bbq there's a fair chance my bottle tasted a little better with all the great smells about. I cannot WAIT to get me some teeth!

On Friday the second I tagged along with Mom to take Avery to see Dr. Shanker. Uh, she looked okay to me - are all trips to the Dr's office this easy? Sweet!

The next day I got rousted out of bed at a near pre-dawn hour which was NOT cool but it turned out okay since I got to spend the next two or so days with G&G D while Avery went camping or something.
It was pretty chill and I had a blast - check it out!

On the fourth I did a little playing with Avery and Dad. My Go Fish boat is full so I was a pretty happy camper!
The Fifth was Mom's (not pictured - oops!) birthday so we all got up early to have breakfast at First Watch before Avery had to go to school.

For lunch Mom and I had met Aunt Abby and Grandma Herbert at Houlihan's.
My gift to Mom was relieving myself during that brief moment between old diaper and new. And apparently M&D failed to stock a backup shirt in the diaper bag so I was half naked... in Houlihan's. I'd like to take this opportunity to hand out my first Parent of the Year award!

I also want to give a shout out to my new cousin Catherine Kaczmarczyk - born two months to the day after yours truly. Phew - I won't be the last person stuck at the kid's table at family holidays!

I've started loving my baths lately. Or at least I don't scream anymore...? That's something, right?

The 6th was my two month check-up with Dr. Shanker. Hmm, still 50th percentile in height (length) - GO AVERAGE! And 75th percentile in weight - GO GENETICS!

After Dr. Shanker gave me a once over we kind of just hung out for a bit but I wasn't sure why at the time. Avery was nice enough to read me a story about kittens though. Which was nice. Not so nice? The four vaccinations (three shots and one oral) I got subjected to!
Fortunately for me AA stopped by that afternoon to help me convalesce.

On the seventh the fam and I headed over to G&G H's to celebrate Mom's and GpaH's birthday.
MORE PICTURES OF ME SCREAMING WITH GPAH!
Okay, I'm just poking fun - I'm not always screaming - sometimes I'm sleeping!

That brings us to the 8th. Mom and I hung out all day - like most others but that day we got to take an exciting trip to her endocrinologist. It was awesome?
